Advising Prospective Students

Advice for Prospective Students

Cornell is an exciting place to study biology! We encourage you to roam through our website to learn about our program and to develop a sense for the opportunities that abound for our undergraduates, the fascinating research interests of our faculty, and the friendliness of our staff in the Office of Undergraduate Biology.

When deciding which Cornell college, Agriculture and Life Sciences or Arts and Sciences, to apply for admission, please note that the biology program is the same in both colleges. We advise you to select the college which best accommodates your non-biology interests. The college requirements and non-biology course offerings are what differentiate the two colleges.
